Shipping Update
Dear customers,
As you may have heard, Canada Post is currently experiencing a labour dispute. Until this resolves, we'll be relying on couriers to ship orders out to you. Unfortunately, this means that some shipping costs are higher--and our list of usual shipping destinations is now temporarily limited!
Not in a hurry? Please choose a "delayed" Canada Post/USPS/Airmail shipping rate at checkout, and we will send your order out as soon just as soon as regular postal service is restored!
Here's an overview of the current shipping situation:
Edmonton area: We are now offering local delivery, going out once a week, for a $10 flat rate!
Canadian provinces: Regular shipping rates are available for customers living in areas serviced by couriers like UPS and FedEx. If your address or PO box is not serviced by couriers, we apologize, but we'll have to ship to you as soon as Canada Post service is restored!
Territories (Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut): We can ship to the North via airline cargo, but the minimum requirements mean that shipping costs are much higher than usual. We apologize for this!!
United States: While express and airmail courier rates are currently extremely high, surface (ground) shipment is available for around USD $30.
International: Unfortunately, courier rates for international shipments are currently in the hundreds of dollars. We will be glad to ship to you once normal postal service is restored!
We hope for a fair resolution soon! It's a tough time for small businesses, especially during our busiest season, and we are so grateful for your patience and ongoing support!
Warmly,
Qiviut Inc.
