Rolags are a happy by-product of our carding process. These delicate rolls of fibre are collected at the end of each carding run.
If you have a hand-spinner in your life, trust us: they want one of these rolags!
Options of varying weights become available as we card—and their composition reflects the various yarn blends that we produce:
- 100% Qiviut
- Sock (40% qiviut, 35% superwash merino wool, 15% silk, 10% nylon)
- Niviuk (60% qiviut, 30% cashmere, 10% silk)
Please note: although we only sell rolags from our final carding runs, they may still contain some muskoxen guard hairs!
