Our most luxurious and best-selling yarn, combed by hand from muskoxen hides and milled right here in Nisku, Alberta. We spin our yarn into a very fine laceweight, as suits this most precious fibre. It is ideal for light but exceptionally warm winter accessories, and it is especially suited for lace knitting. Laceweight yarn can also be held doubled for fingering/sock-weight projects.
Our most popular and precious yarn, the 100% qiviut is soft, warm, and nearly impossible to felt accidentally. Somewhat like alpaca, these fine fibres may relax over time, leading to small changes in the shape of the knitwear. For greater durability and 'memory,' try one of our cashmere or merino wool/silk blends!
