Collection: AUNTIE.BEADING

"I was born and raised in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. I am Inuvialuit and Cree on my mothers side. I taught myself how to bead during the pandemic, when I was stuck inside completing the third year of my degree. I have beaded almost everyday since. I've hosted several beading workshops in the NWT and Alberta, and I've had the honour of having a pair of earrings displayed at the Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art in Vancouver, BC in 2022 for their Beaded Nostalgia exhibit. Outside of beading, I enjoy bird watching, hiking and watching crime documentaries."
