Pat Ekpakohak, is an Inuit artist from Uluhaktok, Northwest Territories. He was born in 1946, and creates stunning, one of a kind carvings from, muskox horns, caribou antler and bone. Ekpakohak's art is highly coveted and renowned by galleries, museums and collectors the world through.
His art has also been featured in publications such as, "Keeping Our Stories Alive: An Exhibiton of the Art and Crafts from Dene and Inuit of Canada" which was held at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Ekpakohak only does a very limited number of pieces each year, so his artwork is difficult to find for sale.
We feel very fortunate to have located an art collector who agreed to offer a portion of her Ekpakohak collection to be enjoyed by even more art lovers.
